The tattoo industry has changed in the last 10 years. We have seen some unprecedented dynamic shifts in the way that we tattoo and communicate. And not only that, the way we are regulated, you know, some of you feel like by yourself, you can’t do anything in your area, that it’s overwhelming and that your voice can’t be heard.
I know because I felt that way. But I am here to tell you that you have support. You have other tattoo artists out there who are willing to back you up when you wanna do something to safeguard tattooing in your area. You know, I’ve made comment about the new federal bill that came through that’s going to affect our livelihood if we do nothing about that.
As an industry and allow that to happen. What’s next? What next are they gonna place upon us? What other outside entity is going to dictate the way we make our livelihoods? But if we can come together and unify our voices, no matter where we come from, I don’t care if you started a home or a prison or your traditional studio or a private tattoo shop owner, it’s no longer where we came from.
It’s where we’re going to tomorrow. So this is a statement that it is your responsibility as a professional in the tattoo industry to do something. And I know you’re busy. I know Tattooan is time consuming, but this is. Not just for your career or my career, but for future generations. Do you wanna leave your mark on the industry or do you want the government to leave the mark on you?
The choice is yours. We have a prime opportunity to join forces and unify the industry today. Are you in?
